Who is Splash?
Splash Aquatic opened in Glenwood in September 2005 and Splash Dural 2009. Splash is an owner operated swim school. Our directors Chris and Tania are actively involved in both businesses daily from bookings right through to teaching. Chris has been a qualified AUSTSWIM Teacher for 13 years, Tania has been a qualified AUSTSWIM Teacher for 9 years.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
At Splash we do have a make up lesson policy, all we require is 24 hours notice that you will not attend your lesson. This allows Splash to use your booking time for another make up lesson.
Do you swim all year?
We only swim according to the NSW school Terms dates. Once you book in, your time slot is secure (unless you need to change times or no longer require lessons).
Do you have reqular assesment days?
We do not have reqular assesment days, on deck staff liase with the swim teachers to discuss progress. If a child is deemed ready to "go up" an assessment will be made by the on deck supervisor and a changes to class and times will be confirmed with you by management.
Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my booking?
No deposit is required. On your first lesson for the term you will receive an invoice, payment for the term is required within the first 2 weeks of term.
What qualifications do your swimming instructors have?
All our instuctors have AUSTSWIM qualifications for Learn to swim and Water Safety. A yearly in house CPR course is also "mandatory" for our instructors.
Do all your students come from Dural?
No. Splash Aquatic has students that come from the Hills, Hornsby and Hawkesbury districts. Including Dural, Kenthurst, Cherrybrook, Galston, Glenhaven, Annangrove, Glenorie, Castle Hill, Kellyville, Rouse Hill, Glenwood, Quakers Hill, West Pennant Hills, Maroota and Wisemans Ferry.
